They were also involved in the restoration activities at the St. Helena Island lighthouse, west of the Mackinac Bridge in northern Lake Michigan. The Island and Light are visible from the bridge. The attendance was set at approximately 80. Gene Crawford was given the Volunteer of the Year award for 2010. A new Board of Directors was elected.

Museum Building Cornice Restored
Tony Riler and company was commissioned by the Historical Society to repair, replace, and reconstruct the historic cornice of the Museum Building. Earl Schultz, of Concord, generously loaned a man-lift which made it much easier to reach the high areas of the building. The work was completed during the summer of 2004. It made a dramatic improvement in the appearance of the building.
